Dr Anthony Lo Conte (Veterinarian)
Vets Direct, founded by Anthony Lo Conte is a independent mobile veterinary service, servicing the Southern Highlands and Camden region. Anthony grew up on his family farm where they have poultry, an orange orchard and Murray Grey cattle.
He initially studied a Bachelor of Agriculture at the University of Sydney. After completing his first degree he helped manage the family farm but has always had a desire to do more with animals. Anthony then completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
Anthony has experience and interests in a wide variety of veterinary medicine including Small animal surgery and medicine. Large animal surgery, medicine and production. He is also the loving owner of two German shorthair pointers, Luca and Olive.
Rhiannon Pearce (Veterinary Nurse & Public Relations)
Rhiannon has always loved animals and has completed a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She started her career in the dairy industry and made her way to vet nursing. Her passion is the large animal industry, especially cows. She hopes to have her own farm one day where her two German Shepherds, Allura and Zara and cat, Valkyrie can enjoy as well.
Outside of work she loves being outdoors, keeping fit and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Abby Masters (Veterinarian)
Abby initially completed a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at Sydney University before graduating from Veterinary Science at the University of QLD in 2013. She completed a small animal internship at UQ in 2014 before moving into mostly small animal practice with a particular interest in animal behaviour, palliative care and pain management. Abby has spent time in QLD & the NT working with a variety of different animals and contributing to rural, regional & remote community dog health programs. She has now returned to her hometown and resides in The Southern Highlands NSW with her young family, where she is focused on providing veterinary support for families and their pets within the comfort of their own home.
Hayley Allen (Veterinary Nurse)
Hayley plays a vital role in supporting our veterinary team. She is the person that keeps us working like clockwork. She is an experienced, qualified and compassionate veterinary nurse with a special interest in equine and mixed practice. Her commitment to the veterinary industry extends beyond clients and patients, where you will find her, both educating and encouraging veterinary students towards their future as veterinarians. In her spare time, Hayley is out horse-riding or walking her six year old kelpie, Alby.
